How to get there

From the main station to Munich University (LMU)
From Munich Central Station, take the U4 underground line (towards Arabellapark) or the U5 (towards Neuperlach Süd) to Odeonsplatz station. Here, change to underground lines U3 (towards Olympiaeinkaufszentrum) or U6 (towards Garching Forschungszentrum) and travel to Universität stop. Use the staircase in the direction of travel of the underground train and you will come out directly at the LMU main building.

Arriving by car
The PARK ONE Tiefgarage Amalienpassage (underground car park, open 24 hours, maximum daily charge €35.00) is located in the immediate vicinity of the university (Türkenstraße 84).

From the main station to the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (ZI)
From Munich Central Station take a walk via Luisenstraße – Sophienstraße – Katharina-von-Bora-Straße (approx. 10 min.) or take underground lines U2 and U8 (towards Feldmoching) to Königsplatz stop, from there it is approx. 200 m walk to the ZI.

Within the city of Munich, public transport may be used with
