Participation in the 38th German Congress for Art History is open to anyone interested. Registration is only possible online via our ticket shop. It is not possible to register in person on site.
After online registration and receipt of your payment, a provisional ticket will be sent to you via e-mail. Please print it out and bring it to the registration desk at the beginning of your visit. You will then receive your personalised conference pass, which is valid as admission ticket. Please carry it with you during the entire congress. No free replacement can be provided for lost or forgotten tickets. Anyone attending the conference needs to purchase a ticket.
Participation in the Ortstermine and evenening events, which are free of charge, is only possible with advance registration. Please note that registration via the ticket shop is also required for the opening evening (Wednesday, 25 February 2025).

After your registration and payment via the ticket shop, your personalised ticket will be generated and deposited at the Registration (Main building of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Geschwister-Scholl-Platz 1, first floor) for you.
Cancellations must be made in writing. Tickets can be cancelled free of charge until 15 January 2026. After 15 January 2026, a handling fee of 25% of the total amount will be charged. No refunds can be made after 28 January 2026. Should the entire event not be able to take place due to legal requirements, all ticket prices will be refunded.
