Registration conditions

Participation in the 37th German Congress for Art History is open to anyone interested. Registration is only possible online via our ticket shop. Advance booking ends on 28 February 2024.

After online registration and receipt of your payment, a provisional ticket will be sent to you via e-mail. Please print it out and bring it to the registration desk at the beginning of your visit. You will then receive your personalised conference pass, which is valid as admission ticket. Please carry it with you during the entire congress. No free replacement can be provided for lost or forgotten tickets. Anyone attending the conference needs to purchase a ticket.

Please note that tickets must also be purchased for the opening day (Wednesday, 13 March 2024).

Participation in all evening events is only possible after prior registration via the ticket shop. This does not apply to the opening evening (Wednesday, 13 March 2024, free entry). Participation in the Ortstermine and workshops, which is also free of charge, is only possible with advance registration. A maximum of two dates can be reserved per person.

After your registration and payment via the ticket shop, your personalised ticket will be generated and deposited at the Registration in the Redoutensaal (Theaterplatz 1, foyer on the ground floor) for you.

Cancellations must be made in writing. Tickets can be cancelled free of charge until 15 January 2024. After 15 January 2024, a handling fee of 25% of the total amount will be charged. Should the entire event not be able to take place due to legal requirements, all ticket prices will be refunded.
